Memories to last a lifetime

University really is a home away from home. But what makes it so?

Thousands of people every year come to Queen Mary from hundreds of countries across the globe, all with their own unique perspective of what "home" really means. So how can Queen Mary halls mean home for all those people?

Is it the excellent central London locations? Or the spacious rooms and kitchens? Is it the variety of social and study spaces, right outside your bedroom door? (Probably not, right?)

What makes a house a home is the people you share it with, and the friends you make in your university hall are truly friends for life. Through the trials and tribulations, the epic highs and lows of university life, your friends and flatmates are what truly make your university experience. These connections should be celebrated, and we have just the thing to do it.

ResLife are creating unique t-shirts for AspireBlithehale and  Sherren residents for our Summer Send-Off events!

These shirts will feature artwork of your building and plenty of space for friends, flatmates and found-family members to write personal messages on, that you can keep as a forever momento of your time together in halls.

How can you claim a custom shirt? Simply follow the link for your hall (Aspire, Blithehale or Sherren) and fill out the form provided. The deadline for claiming is the 8th of July, so don't delay! You can then pick up your shirt and get signing at our Summer Send-Off events, fabric pens provided!
